No daddy, I don’t want lunch! I’m digging!
The sun is beating down, and finally I am joined by Percy Thrower on the patio for cheese and cucumber sandwiches.
Gardening should be a doddle this year with all the help I’m getting. Good job too, I have loads to do, as you will discover on the weekend.
We have four new members to the family this week.
These little beauties, are apple trees in the making. JB has been growing these from the seeds he found in his apple one snacktime a few weeks ago.
They sit in the kitchen window, and I kid you not, these guys visibly grow in the time it takes to wash up after dinner!

Great idea to grow apple trees from the pips of one of your apples, I always assumed (obviously wrongly) that they would be sterile or something, ice to know they are not.

I’ve never heard of that about apples, but I have of potatoes. I’ve still managed to grow spuds from store brought. Might just be certain types.
